Homemade Chai Latte
Try this incredible money saving latte iced or hot.
  • 2 teaspoons Masala Chai
  • 2 teaspoons Cocoa Chai Rooibos
  • Your choice of sweetener - to taste
  • Additional spices such as added ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves or black pepper
  • Half & Half or sub in your favorite such as whole, skim, or soy milk. Or non dairy liquid creamer
  • whipped cream
  • Bring 12 ounces of water to a boil. Add the two types of chai tea with additional spices. Remove from heat and brew for 3-5 minutes. The longer you brew the stronger your chai. Strain (or use a T-Sac for brewing). Sweeten to taste. Add 4 ounces of hot/steamed milk (your choice above) Ratio is 2/3 brewed chai to 1/3 milk. Top with whipped cream, shaved chocolate or any other garnish such as nutmeg. Or splash over milk for an iced chai latte.
